The Ph.D. Program in Computing and Information Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track position to begin August 2023, in the areas of machine learning and its applications to healthcare areas. As the explosive production and accumulation of data continues, machine learning has become the foundation for solving pressing challenges across broad spectrum of domains of technological and socioeconomical importance. In the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, there is an ever-increasing need for expertise in machine learning research. The Ph.D. Program in Computing and Information Sciences seeks qualified individuals who can contribute to its multidisciplinary research environment. Candidates with demonstrated research interest/experience in establishing collaborations within computing and other data-intensive domains, particularly healthcare, are encouraged to apply.
