Teaching and Learning Innovation (TLI), which is housed in the Division of Faculty Affairs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (TLI) invites proposals for its Innovative Teaching and Learning Conference which will be held virtually on March 29, 2022 .
Following the official theme, Transforming the World through Innovative Teaching and Learning, TLI encourages submissions that create opportunities for critical and creative thinking about how to deepen and enhance student learning and success. To encourage the broadest level of participation, there is no registration fee to attend.
Proposals may focus on innovative aspects of different teaching modalities (online, blended, face-to-face), pedagogy (team-based learning, engaged scholarship, culturally relevant, etc.), and/or practice (collaborative, active, peer-led, etc.) in the higher education context. Submissions are accepted in five formats: Presentations, Roundtables/Panels, Pre-recorded Posters, Workshops, and Demonstrations. This year, there are six (6) designated tracks:
- Inclusive Teaching
- Experiential Learning
- Strategies that Foster Student Success
- Emerging Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)
- Using Technology to Foster Deeper Learning
- Innovative Practices across Teaching Modalities
