Teaching and Learning Innovation (TLI) which is housed in the Division of Faculty Affairs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (TLI) is hosting its Innovative Teaching and Learning Conference on March 30, 2021. This year’s conference will be virtual and our theme is Lighting the Way to Deeper Learning . There are no fees associated with this conference in order to encourage wide participation from those interested in advancing teaching and learning in the higher education context.
This is just a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit a proposal is now December 4th **.**TLI encourages submissions that create opportunities for critical and creative thinking about innovative ways to deepen and enhance student learning. Proposals may focus on various aspects of innovative delivery (online, blended, face-to-face), pedagogy (service learning, experiential learning, engaged scholarship, inclusive and culturally relevant, etc.), and practice (collaborative, active, peer-led, etc.). Submissions are accepted in five formats: Presentation, Roundtable/Panel, Poster, Workshop, and Demonstration Sessions. This year, there are four (4) designated tracks which are:
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Strategies that Foster Student Success
Emerging Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Research
We welcome submissions from all faculty and professionals interested in the topic. This includes graduate students and post-doctoral fellows.
