The University of Rhode Island’s Office for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning is seeking a new leader who will be responsible for the strategic planning and vision casting for our Faculty Development unit, and will guide the design, implementation, and assessment of programs and services for URI faculty. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in faculty development leadership. Expertise within STEM fields in particular is preferred. The directorial responsibilities and duties of this position include active research and involvement with current Faculty Development trends, aligning budgets and securing grants, supervising Faculty Development staff and ensuring their professional development.
