-apologies for cross-listings–
The Inclusive STEM Teaching Project, an NSF grant funded program is opening its first public run of the Inclusive STEM Teaching MOOC and accompanying local learning communities this summer!
This program is designed to advance the awareness, self-efficacy, and ability of graduate students, postdocs, and faculty to cultivate inclusive STEM learning environments for all their students and to develop themselves as reflective, inclusive practitioners. Drawing on embodied case studies and vignettes from the CRLT Players theater group, participants will engage in deep reflection and discussions around topics of equity and inclusion across a variety of institutional contexts. The asynchronous and synchronous online activities will be extended through local learning communities.
If you are interested in facilitating a local learning community, there will be a facilitator training this spring, April 28 and 30. Applications for the training is due April 2.
For more information about this opportunity and to apply for the facilitator training, please visit the Inclusive STEM Teaching Project website.
