Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar, NC State University

The Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar will be developing and implementing a new laboratory course in a cutting-edge area of molecular biotechnology in the fellow’s area of expertise. The Scholar will be teaching sections at the graduate and undergraduate levels of an existing course that covers manipulation and expression of recombinant DNA.

Minimum Experience/Education Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., M.D., D.V.M., Sc.D.) in appropriate field awarded no more than five (5) years from initial date of postdoctoral appointment.
Departmental Required Skills PhD in molecular biology or related area. Candidate must complete all PhD requirements prior to employment.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education Postdoctoral research experience, strong interpersonal skills, and teaching ability.
