Assistant Professor, Social Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the Rochester Institute of Technology invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting in August 2022. We seek an energetic and enthusiastic psychologist who will serve as an instructor, researcher, and mentor to students in our undergraduate and graduate programs. Candidates should have expertise in the area of Social Psychology or related area. Individuals whose research focus is in social cognition, social neuroscience or social development are highly encouraged to apply.

Assistant Professor, School Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the Rochester Institute of Technology invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, with primary responsibilities in the School Psychology Program, starting in August 2022. We seek an energetic and enthusiastic psychologist who will serve as an instructor, researcher, and mentor to graduate students. Candidates must have expertise and experience in performing the essential activities of a school psychologist. Those with experience or interest in: (a) literacy; (b) individuals with developmental disabilities; or (c) individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must be certified or eligible for certification as a school psychologist in New York State. Candidates licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in New York State will also be considered provided that they have expertise and experience in school psychology.
