Yale University: Lecturer/Course Coordinator for “An Issues Approach to Biology”

The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University seek to hire a course coordinator/lecturer to facilitate the administration and teaching of the MCDB/MBB 105 biology courses for non-majors, “An Issues Approach to Biology”. Duties include coordinating teaching fellow staff, teaching discussion sections and “Experience Science” sections, managing websites and databases associated with the courses, grading, and providing other logistical support.

Candidates competitive for this position will have a Ph.D. and previous experience as a graduate teaching assistant or other teaching at the college level, and the ability to effectively work with faculty, staff and students involved in these courses. Facility with audiovisual equipment is desired.
